Stay safe, keep sane, and Curry on Cooking!

CURRY ON COOKING THE HEALTHY WAY!

As we emerge from the coronavirus lockdown it’s time to get that lockdown body into shape!

Here are our 5 Top Tips to get you started!

1 Instead of oil use spray oil or eliminate it altogether – a splash of water works just as well as oil!  You won’t even miss it!

2 Replace cream with low-fat alternatives such as low-fat yoghurt or quark.  It will still look and taste as currylicious!

3 To reduce the amount of calories in your curry, remove fat from meat before cooking.

4 Throw in more of your favourite veggies such as carrots, aubergine, peppers, cabbage, runner beans or spinach as these are mainly water-based and packed full of nutrients; you get to eat loads more guilt-free!

5 Try something different with you Curry On Cooking kits – Create a Dansak by adding a jar/tin of chickpeas, peas pudding or a cup of split lentils into your curry!
