[vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=”What are the spice kits?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141435481-d8b95e89-1b72″]These kits are all you need to create the best Indian you’ve ever cooked! We’ve done all the hard work for you as each spice kit is carefully selected with the finest herbs and spices. Each kit comes with all the spices and seasoning needed, plus a recipe and shopping list.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Are the spice kits healthy?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141537231-c77744fd-09d7″]Very much so, all our kits use no more than 3 tablespoons of cooking oil, which can be replaced with spray oil for an even healthier option. The cream in the Tikka and Korma can be replaced with coconut cream, crème fraiche or even yoghurt. Unlike jars and pastes our kits are sugar free.  Pakoras can be baked or whizzed to make a batter to for crepes/drop scones/pancakes and vegan omelette!

[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do your kits have any additives?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141628511-7b2a044d-bb05″]No all of our products are free from additives, preservatives and colourings.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Are your products suitable for vegans?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141677818-d1e0ce02-26ae”]All our spice kits are suitable for vegans and vegetarian as all meat recipes can easily be adapted by using vegetarian ingredients instead of meat.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Are they gluten free?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141816231-22b78826-94fd”]Yes they are, our kits contain only 100% pure herbs and spices.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do your products contain nuts?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141875738-6c2877ba-e7fc”]The curry kits are nut free.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I freeze your curries?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141940490-cb9d13b2-95d3″]You can’t freeze the curry/spice kits but you can freeze the finished dish.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How many people does one meal serve?” open=”true” el_id=”1449141980359-778935a1-1439″]Most of our kits are designed to serve four generous adult portions. With the Biryani Rice and Bombay Potatoes they can feed up to 6 if served as a side. The Pakora mix yields around 25-30 pieces![/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I use other meat, fish or vegetables instead of the suggested meat in the recipe?” open=”true” el_id=”1449142029948-580e9d03-5aa5″]Yes, by all means you can substitute the meat for other types of meat eg lamb/pork If using alternative meat adjust cooking times depending on the meat used.   Any vegetables or mixed vegetables can be used. Tofu and soya also work great with the kits. Use the same quantity as stated in the original recipe. When cooking with fish it’s best to use a firm fleshed, robust fish such as monkfish or halibut which doesn’t fall apart in the pan too quickly. Cod loin works really well in Pakoras.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What if it’s too hot for me?” open=”true” el_id=”1449142077301-7cce806d-79cf”]KEEP CALM as you have a range of options to reduce the heat of the dish. Add a dash of lemon or lime juice. The acid should help in reducing the heat. Vinegar also is a good addition.

Spooning in more liquid can help. Dairy helps to temper the spices stir in a couple of tablespoons of natural/Greek yoghurt, sour cream or coconut milk.

Eating raita made out of natural or Greek yogurt helps to cool things down as does a sweet or salty lassi.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I’ve never cooked an Indian meal before. We say if a 10-year-old can cook these kits anyone can.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Where can I buy your curry kits?” open=”true” el_id=”1449143378271-4c231660-8dc0″]Online from us!  Plus available from various stockists in Uk and further afield. 1. The first kit I tried was Tikka Masala. It was so easy and delicious I was hooked. I would recommend the kits to anyone.

  2. Got our first kit from a local English butcher only saying that because we live in Spain, we got the Jalfrezi kit and tried it last night with chicken. Added some fresh coriander just before serving and a sprinkling on top to garnish, some chapatis and wow it has to be the best Jalfrezi we have ever cooked at home if not the best we have ever had. Without doubt will be buying plenty more and trying a few different kit. Best few Euro’s I’ve spent this week. Curryoncooking.
